We now have a large number of Korean students (yoo-hag-sang), but I remember
when I was a freshman, my head always turned, as walking, to a small group
of Asian people passing by.. wondering if they were Koreans. I was thrilled
to hear Korean words, happy to meet one and shake hands.. there were just
a few of my kind.
But now, a simple phrase of "안녕하세요! 저 수업 때문에 가봐야..." makes
an escape from meeting another Korean man at school..ohhh~ perhaps I should
mention about gossips among Korean people... maybe not, I'm sure you already
know. ... anyway, that's at school. And we have a lot of yoo-hag-sang, but
rarely a visitor from Korea... I think it will be exciting to meet people
who come to my turf wtih a 배낭 on his back.
