The following is what I remember about AP.. hope it's helpful to you..
Well, advanced placement test, better known as an AP test, is a way for
high school students to place out of one or more intro classes when they enter
college.. For one to take this test, which is offered for many different
subjects, one has to take an AP class for a particular subject in H.S.
The test is offered sometime in april or in may.. and its score is scaled from
1 to 5, where 5 is the highest.. Most colleges take a score of 4 or 5 and one
can then get credit for the intro class and enroll in an upper class in the
subject in which he or she has received a satisfactory score.. I'd strongly
suggest that you take as many AP classes as you can.. They can be challenging
but it's worth the effort..
