Seem like you are from US where interacial is tolarated little more than
in korea. Of course, even in US, interacial couple recieves much more
negative attention than they deserves.
Personally I think the interacial relationship is fine. As matter of fact, it
can be better. Me and my friends had one heated disucssion aoub that topic
not too long ago. All my white friends think its all right that two
difference race goes out and make a family and so on but interesting fact was
that all my korean friends hesitatedon that topic. Korean friends thinks that
It will be much easier for a couple to carry out the relationship if they are
from similar background.
Well~ I told them if a korean person and the white person are both from US
and grew up in a similar situation such as going to school and so on, than
what you are saying applies in this case also but still, they were hesitant.
I guess korean people who have been living in korea will probably have the
same ideas as my korean firends who have been living in US and thats kinda
shame. IF you like that person than it shouldnt make any difference but keep
in mind that there will always be ignorant people who have absolutly no idea
whats going on in the world. Just like my proffessor said "in this age and
time, You won't get anywhere with ignorance". And I agree.
Good luck to you.
