The 1st paragraph; I quoted as I indicated: Heinz Pagels, _The Cosmic Code_
The second sentence of the 2nd paragraph wrote Heinz Pagels; in other words, I
inserted that not indicating the quoting--I deserve to be called "copycat,"
heuk heuk heuk... :~-(
Rest of 'em wrote "I"--your bow?? :-)
Long time ago, about 20 packs of cigarettes ago (I'm not a heavy smoker),
I read Murakami Haruki's _Pinball, 1973_; was enlightening writing with an
exellent English translation by Alfred Birnbaum. As I read Pagel's, I
thought of Murakami's; then whispered, mysteriously, "Life is like a pinball
game. I don't think I'm original; creative, either. And who is? After all,
culture is a form of slightly modified copy of the original.
So don't take someone's writing (mine included) as unbendingly original (i.e.
something out of nothing). I'm, "ipso facto," a nasty copycat, you know? :-)
