If you show a letter to a person in a customs office, then he/she will request you to open your boxes. If a box caontains things( book, clothes, noodle, Korean food), then you need not pay customs. If a box contains new one, then the customs charges money. It is important to persist that things are used in Korea. I payes customs for Ginseng.
